This one of a kind hand turned bud vase has been carefully turned, with the grain and natural beauty of the wood being enhanced by the natural Shella-wax finish.

Elm timber, derived from the majestic Elm tree, is celebrated for its distinctive grain pattern and exceptional strength.
The colouring of Elm wood is dull brown with distinctive varied grain and texture, can have pip and burr. Elm has striking contrasting sap is seen as attractive quality. can be difficult to work with, binds on saw, picks up on planing. resistant to treatment but will take glue, stain, polish. A slightly durable and fairly strong timber with medium moisture movement.
The wood that Creative verve uses is sourced from sustainable forests or is recycled from old furniture. Timber products that are seasoned to an atmosphere overseas will move or crack when they settle here, therefore only Australian timber is used because it is seasoned to the atmosphere here.
