This stunning one of a kind hand turned small dish has been created from Australian Sassafras wood. Only one has been made.
Finished with natural Shellawax, to bring out the natural colours.
All parts of Sassafras are fragrant. The species are unusual in having three distinct leaf patterns on the same plant, unlobed oval, bilobed and trilobed, the leaves are hardly ever five-lobed. Three-lobed leaves are more common.
Timber is sourced from sustainable forests, recycled sources or trees that have fallen and all Timbers have been seasoned naturally.
